In 1986, WestBam co-founded Low Spirit Recordings, a label instrumental in shaping Germany’s electronic music landscape. His debut album, The Cabinet (1989), was the first DJ-concept album in Germany. Over the years, WestBam continued to push boundaries with albums like A Practising Maniac at Work (1991) and Bam Bam Bam (1994).
