Today’s video of the day is the Mass Minor – "Get Up" released in 2026.
Mass Minor returns with “Get Up,” released October 2, 2026, through Metropolis Records. The single marks a major new chapter for the project. Andrew J. Martin Jr. created Mass Minor as a solo project built around dark electronic and alternative sounds. Over time, the project has developed a style that blends electronic rock, post-punk, and darkwave. Now, Mass Minor enters a new era with its first release for Metropolis Records. In addition, “Get Up” follows the July 2026 single “Nowhere Now.” Together, these tracks build anticipation for the upcoming second album, Beyond The Edge Of Reason.
Musically, “Get Up” moves at a powerful 169 BPM. As a result, its fast rhythm gives the track an urgent and intense energy. However, its dark atmosphere keeps the song rooted in moody electronic music. Martin also gives the lyrics a deeply personal focus. He describes the song as a direct conversation with God. Instead of hiding behind abstract ideas, he confronts sin, money, mortality, and human responsibility. Furthermore, the song questions whether people should wait for divine intervention. Instead, Martin argues that humanity must take action and solve its own problems. Therefore, “Get Up” becomes both an energetic anthem and a challenging statement.
The official “Get Up” video brings that intensity into a striking visual setting. Teresa Jolie directed the video, while Beau Loy handled the editing. Consequently, the visuals match the track’s raw and cinematic character. The song will appear on Beyond The Edge Of Reason, which is scheduled for release in late February 2027. The album will follow Mass Minor’s earlier releases and expand the project’s electronic rock and darkwave direction. Thus, “Get Up” serves as an important bridge between the project’s past and its next chapter. It also establishes a strong foundation for Mass Minor’s second full-length album.
