Celebrate The Nun, a synthpop band from Hanover, Germany, formed in 1986. The band consisted of H.P. Baxxter, Rick J. Jordan, Britt Maxime, and Slin Thompson. Their debut single, "Ordinary Town," was a hit in Germany, released by EMI. Their second single, "Will You Be There," achieved greater success. It reached number 4 on the USA Billboard-Club-Charts. This song helped them sell over 30,000 CDs in the United States. In 1989, Celebrate The Nun released their first full-length album, Meanwhile, on EMI (Germany) and Enigma (US/Canada).

Britt Maxime chose not to join Scooter, preferring to create independent pop music instead of techno. "Will You Be There" remains a significant part of Celebrate The Nun’s legacy. It showcases their talent and the peak of their success. This song, along with the album Meanwhile, marks an important chapter in the band’s history.
