Today’s video of the day is Pop Will Eat Itself – "Their Law (Ain’t Our Law)" released in 2025.
Pop Will Eat Itself (PWEI) have unleashed a new version of their classic collaboration with The Prodigy. Released on August 19, 2025, “Their Law (Ain’t Our Law)” reimagines the 1994 anthem “Their Law.” The original track appeared on Music for the Jilted Generation, where PWEI’s Clint Mansell and Graham Crabb joined forces with The Prodigy’s Liam Howlett. The 2025 update keeps the spirit of defiance alive while adding PWEI’s modern industrial-electronic edge.
The track appears on PWEI’s new album Delete Everything, released October 10, 2025. This marks the band’s first studio album in a decade. The album blends biting social commentary with dark humor and high-energy beats. “Their Law (Ain’t Our Law)” fits perfectly among its themes of rebellion and resistance. Approved by Liam Howlett, this version brings the original’s anti-establishment message into today’s digital age, where control and surveillance take new forms.
Formed in the late 1980s, Pop Will Eat Itself helped shape the grebo and industrial crossover sound. Albums like This Is the Day… This Is the Hour… This Is This! and Dos Dedos Mis Amigos defined their mix of punk, hip-hop, and electronics. With Delete Everything, they revisit their roots while pushing their sound forward. “Their Law (Ain’t Our Law)” bridges generations of protest music, proving that Pop Will Eat Itself still challenge authority—and still make it sound like a revolution.
