Formed in Belgium in 1981 by Dirk Da Davo and TB Frank, the duo blended post-punk, darkwave, industrial, and rock into a distinctive sound. Their 1986 television performance of &quot;Awful Day&quot; on a French TV show captures the band&#8217;s raw stage presence. Moreover, the song highlights the creative chemistry between both musicians, who wrote, composed, and produced the track together.<\/p>\n<p>&quot;Awful Day&quot; opens the band&#8217;s landmark album Mafu Cage, released on May 19, 1986.
