Today’s video of the day is Die Krupps – "Will Nicht – Muss!" released in 2025.
German industrial metal legends Die Krupps return in 2025 with their fierce new video “Will Nicht – Muss!”. The track comes from their EP Will nicht – Muss! / On Collision Course, first released as a hand-numbered collector’s CD during their European tour. Due to overwhelming demand, limited vinyl editions soon followed. This release also previews the band’s highly anticipated 2026 studio album, offering a bold glimpse of what’s next for these EBM pioneers.
Formed in 1980 by Jürgen Engler and Ralf Dörper, Die Krupps have shaped the sound of industrial and EBM for over four decades. Known for their fusion of electronic rhythms and heavy guitars, they inspired countless acts across the globe. Their catalog, from Volle Kraft Voraus! to V – Metal Machine Music, showcases constant reinvention. The new song “Will Nicht – Muss!” continues this legacy with renewed intensity, merging metallic riffs and pulsating electronics that echo both their classic and modern eras.
Joined by drummer Paul Keller and new guitarist Dylan Smith of The Sisters of Mercy fame, Die Krupps sound more dynamic than ever. The collaboration with Ministry on this EP reinforces their transatlantic influence and energy. “Will Nicht – Muss!” captures their rebellious spirit and relentless drive, symbolizing 45 years of innovation and defiance. As a preview of their 2026 album, it connects the band’s industrial roots with a sharp modern edge—proving Die Krupps are still leading the charge in industrial music’s evolution.
