Today’s video of the day is Cavalera Conspiracy featuring Jello Biafra- “Nazi Trumps Fuck Off” released in 2025.
On March 3, 2025, at Denver’s Marquis Theater, Cavalera Conspiracy delivered a memorable performance. Max and Iggor Cavalera, founders of Sepultura, have been touring under the moniker Cavalera Conspiracy. Their setlists have featured classic Sepultura tracks. However, that night held a special surprise.
Jello Biafra, the original vocalist of Dead Kennedys, joined them on stage. Together, they performed the Dead Kennedys’ anthem "Nazi Punks Fuck Off." This track originally appeared on the 1981 EP In God We Trust, Inc. The song critiques violence within the punk scene and stands against fascist ideologies.
Before diving into the song, Biafra addressed the audience. He reflected on the song’s origins and its evolving significance. Initially, it targeted violent behaviors at punk shows. Over time, in regions with oppressive regimes, it transformed into a revolutionary anthem. Biafra emphasized its relevance today, pointing to rising fascist sentiments in the U.S. He remarked, "For the first time ever, we are staring at real live fascist dictatorships with red, white, and blue brown shirts all over this country."
He then introduced a reimagined title: "Nazi Trumps Fuck Off!" This adaptation underscores the song’s enduring message against authoritarianism. The crowd responded with enthusiastic cheers, amplifying the venue’s energy. Cavalera Conspiracy’s tour continues, with support from Necrot and Dead Heat. They’re scheduled to perform at Brooklyn’s Warsaw on March 13. Fans can anticipate more electrifying shows as the tour progresses.
